Comeback

Last night we attended Eugénie Rebetez's amazing new show COMEBACK at the LE POCHE theater in Geneva.
Comeback marks Eugénie Rebetez's return to the stage as a solo artist, more mature and daring than ever. An extraordinary dancer, a Jura diva and a voluptuous comic, her new show is all at once: a One Woman Show told with the body, between poetry and comedy, rock’n’roll and delicacy.
It's been eight years since her last solo show. I think we discovered Eugénie Rebetez in Gina at the Fête de la Musique back in 2010 (maybe?) and have been fans ever since.
Eugénie is a virtuose
A fragile multi-talented virtuose, that doesn't shy away from sharing some of her deepest emotions and convictions with you. She brings you into her world, slowly, one emotion after another until your own feelings blend seemlessly with the glint in her eyes and her smile.
Time and space disappears, while she takes you by the hand, intermingling dance, humour and singing, stringing together little snapshots of life painted with with self-deprecation and lots of tenderness.
If you are anywhere near one of her shows, don't think twice, run and buy a ticket.
Théâtre LE POCHE
I don't remember last time I saw a show at LE POCHE. It was before we had our children… It's a lovely little theatre located in the old town
The small size of the theatre creates an intimacy between the performers and the public that larger venues don't have. The theatre has a nice bar
Martine Corbat (director) has a interesting outlook that breaks with the more traditional programmation that was associated with this venue. I will definitively look into next season's programme.
