“Streets of Minneapolis” is a single released by Bruce Springsteen as a response to President Trump’s deployment of ICE throughout US cities. It was written following the second killing by ICE in Minneapolis, Minnesota during January of 2026.
I wrote this song on , recorded it and released it to you in response to the state terror being visited on the city of Minneapolis. It’s dedicated to the people of Minneapolis, our innocent immigrant neighbors and in memory of Alex Pretti and Renee Good.
