New Year’s Day stroll by the lake

We woke up to fog this morning. I like the atmosphere it creates, dampening edges and blurring the landscape in cotton wool.

We made our way down to the lake a little before midday to discover a cloud of fog sitting on the lake. For a short period of time, the views were quite stunning.
