Mum left us peacefully this morning around 6:30a holding her nurse’s hand.

I trust she’s in a better place now, somewhere bathed in sun (but not too much), below wide skies, close to water, with blooming flowers waving to the sounds of nature, surrounded by her dear friends, laughing and joking, out of pain ❀

    As this year comes to a close, we felt, maybe more than ever before, the urge to take a breath, to slow down, and take in where we stand, a kind of reality check, take time to enjoy the here and now.
